Hey everyone! I recently upgraded my GPU to the ASUS Prime Radeon RX 9060 XT, but I suspect my system might be bottlenecking. Currently, I'm using an Intel i5 10600K CPU on an MSI Z490 A PRO motherboard, and I do a lot of photo editing and multitasking, along with gaming on high settings. I'm thinking about switching to an AMD CPU, but I'm unsure if my current motherboard would be compatible. I'm looking for budget-friendly suggestions for a new CPU and motherboard that can handle gaming while maintaining good FPS. Any thoughts on whether I should go AMD or stick with an upgraded Intel CPU? Thanks!

Before you rush into an upgrade, you might want to check how your GPU is performing during games. If it’s maxed out at 100% utilization, you might not actually be bottlenecked. However, if you're looking to upgrade, consider the Intel i5-14600K paired with a B760 DDR4 motherboard for a solid performance boost without breaking the bank.

Thanks! I’ll give that a shot!
