Looking for Software to Use One Mouse and Keyboard Across Multiple PCs

I'm trying to find software that will allow me to control three different computers using just one mouse and keyboard. My main setup is a System76 desktop running PopOS with Cosmic Desktop. I've tested a few options like Input Leap and Synergy, but I've encountered issues when starting the server applications—they keep cycling between starting and stopped. I'm not sure if the problem is due to lack of Wayland support or something else. I'm also considering a hardware solution, but I wanted to hear if anyone has recommendations for software first.

No, I only have one monitor. The other two machines are running Windows—one is Windows 10, and the other is Windows 11. I just want to seamlessly switch my mouse and keyboard to each as needed. Thanks for the suggestions!

If you just have one monitor, and you want to switch between machines using your mouse and keyboard, you might actually want a KVM switch instead of software. It physically connects multiple computers to a single set of input devices and a monitor, making it pretty straightforward.

What other two computers are you trying to use? Just so you know, Synergy doesn’t handle video, which is something to keep in mind. You might want to try Barrier; it’s a free and open-source alternative to Synergy that worked fine for me. Also, do your other computers have their own monitors? That’s typically how Barrier or Synergy is set up to work.
