Managing Thin Clients in a VMware Horizon Setup

I'm curious about the best ways to manage thin clients in a VDI environment. In my case, I have a mix of thin clients, all running different versions of Windows, which makes updating them a real hassle. Some can't even handle Windows 10. Do most people go with Linux, or maybe other operating systems? Are there suggestions for custom images?

A lot of folks uses dedicated thin client operating systems like IGEL, or whatever your hardware vendor provides at a lower cost. IGEL can be pricey but it’s often seen as worth the investment since it reduces the Windows management overhead in VDI setups.

UpdateWizard99: Totally get that! It's confusing why some choose Windows for thin clients when there are better options out there. I'm struggling with a mix of Windows 7 and several updates of Windows 10 myself, and I need to find a more streamlined approach to managing them.
