MediaFire files won’t open in the iOS app

Since yesterday, none of the video files saved in my MediaFire account will open through the iOS app. The app briefly shows a loading screen, then returns to the previous page. It affects every file, not just one potentially corrupted video. I've already updated the app, restarted my iPhone, and cleared its cache, but the problem remains. Downloads also fail with an error message. Is this likely an issue with the service, or is there another fix I should try?

If the browser version works, try signing out of the iOS app, reinstalling it, and signing back in. Also check that the app has permission to access cellular data and that your phone has enough free storage. If downloads fail in both the app and browser, it’s probably a server-side problem and may require waiting for it to be resolved.

I’m seeing the same behavior with all of my files, including failed downloads. Since it started suddenly and affects multiple files, it may be an issue with the MediaFire service or its iOS app rather than corrupted files on your account. Checking the web version in a browser could help confirm whether the files themselves are still accessible.
