Whenever I use the mouse wheel in Firefox or Chrome, the page barely moves in small segments every couple of seconds instead of scrolling smoothly. The scrolling continues in the same direction, but the browsers are nearly unusable. Brave, Windows, Steam, and other applications work normally. The issue happens with both a USB mouse and a Bluetooth mouse. I've cleared cookies, reinstalled the mouse drivers, updated both browsers, disabled extensions, and turned off Firefox's smooth-scrolling setting, but nothing changed. Dragging the scrollbar works normally. Has anyone found a fix for this?

I’ve seen the same behavior in both Chrome and Firefox with two different wireless mice, while Explorer and Steam scroll normally. Dragging the scrollbar still works, so it seems related to the mouse software or its browser scrolling integration rather than the browsers themselves.
Check the Logitech application if you have it installed. Disabling smooth scrolling there fixed this exact browser-only problem for me.

That sounds exactly like what I’m seeing. Are you still using Windows 10?
