My External Hard Drive Won't Open – Any Ideas?

Hey folks, I hope I'm posting this in the right spot! I'm having a major issue with my external hard drive. It suddenly stopped working, and whenever I connect it to my laptop, either the file explorer crashes or I get an error message that says 'parameter not available.' I can't access anything on it. Does anyone have any idea what could be causing this and how I can fix it?

If you're still having trouble, consider downloading a tool like DiskGenius to run a full test on your drive. It might give you more insights into what's going wrong. Just keep in mind that if the drive isn’t showing up in DiskGenius, that could be another sign there's something really wrong with it.
