I lost my iPad at Salt Lake City International Airport. Both the airport and Delta say they haven't been able to locate it, but its location now shows that it's traveling in Georgia. I've already marked it as lost and added my phone number. Is there anything else I can do to recover it or protect my information?

If you purchased AppleCare+ with Theft and Loss coverage, check whether the iPad qualifies for a claim. Otherwise, marking it lost and keeping Activation Lock enabled are the main ways to protect your data while you continue working with the airline and airport.
Keep it marked as lost through Find My, and don’t remove it from your Apple account. Lost Mode will lock the device and display your contact information. You can also keep checking its location and report the updated information to Delta and the airport’s lost-and-found department.
If the location is moving, contact the local police department in the area where it appears and provide the device location and serial number. Don’t try to retrieve it yourself or confront whoever has it. Also change important passwords and make sure Apple Pay cards and other sensitive accounts are secured.
