Need Help Understanding a Laptop Popup

Hey everyone! I got a notification when I opened my laptop, and I'm unsure what it means. I've shared a picture of it in the comments. Can someone explain what this might be? Thanks in advance for your help!

It looks like you're seeing a message from Norton. Just so you know, a VPN (virtual private network) is designed to mask your IP address and give you more anonymity online, but it can slow down your internet speed. Personally, I'd recommend ditching Norton; it's known to be pretty bloated. Windows Defender is a solid free alternative that might work better for you. Just remember, even the best antivirus won't catch everything, so stay cautious!

CuriousPineapple42: The subscription ends in May, so I might switch to Defender. It’s concerning, though, because someone I know has tried to hack a relative. Should I be worried that they can access my laptop since they have my Wi-Fi info?
