I recently purchased a MacBook Air M4 two weeks ago, and it's currently running macOS 15.5. I'm considering whether to update to 15.7 or jump to 26.4.1. I've heard some negative feedback about the latest version, so if 15.7 will suffice, I might go with that. What do you all think? Which version would you recommend for my situation? Thanks for your input!

You should definitely go for the newest version! It has the latest features and security updates, which are really important for keeping your system safe. 😊
Unless you have a specific need, it's best to run the latest available version for optimal performance and security.
Got it! I just updated to 15.7.5, and if that's solid, I think I’ll wait for 27 if it’s coming out.
Consider what you need from the update. If there's something specific in 26.4.1 that interests you, go for it. But keeping your OS current is crucial since you're missing out on important security patches that have been rolled out in later versions.
That sounds fine! Staying updated is key, so you're in a good spot.

Ok, thanks for your advice!
