Hey everyone! My old PC finally kicked the bucket after 8 years of repairs, so I'm looking to build a new one instead of pouring more money into it. Here's the hardware I'm considering: AMD Ryzen 5 7500F for โ‚ฌ135, MSI B650 PLUS WIFI motherboard for โ‚ฌ140, be quiet! Pure Rock Pro 3 LX cooler for โ‚ฌ45, Samsung 990 Pro 1TB SSD for โ‚ฌ215, Fractal Design North Charcoal Black case for โ‚ฌ140, and be quiet! Pure Power 12 750W PSU for โ‚ฌ100. I have a GTX 1070 Ti from my last setup that I plan to use until GPU prices drop. I'm also considering getting 2 sticks of Kingston FURY Beast white RGB 16GB RAM for โ‚ฌ85 each, but I might upgrade them later. What do you all think about this setup? Thanks for any feedback!

Honestly, your GPU waiting strategy might not work out. Prices are still high, and they could get worse before improving. But overall, your build looks solid and should perform well!

PixelProwler88: Thanks for the heads up! I wasnโ€™t sure if waiting would be a good idea.

I think the SSD choice could be better. You can find solid 1TB models for around โ‚ฌ120, and honestly, going for high-end SSDs doesnโ€™t make much of a difference in real lifeโ€”for typical loading times, you wonโ€™t notice. Also, make sure the RAM you choose is DDR5. As for your GPU plan, prices are still pretty high, and I expect them to go up further, so getting a mid-range card like an RTX 5070 or RX 9070 might be wise to consider soon.
