I've learned full-stack web development and have done some solo projects, but finding proper work in my country is tough. I'm looking to start freelancing to make some money and gain experience. I can code with Python (Django) and JavaScript (Angular). What are some effective ways to find freelance opportunities, attract clients, and determine my pricing? Also, bear in mind that English isn't my first language, so please be kind!

Building connections is key. Many of my clients have been with me for 8-10 years, mostly through word of mouth. Focus on providing quality work, and you'll find that clients prefer you over larger agencies. Networking events can be super helpful too, even if they make you nervous—just talking about your work with friends and family can open doors! Good luck!

In my five years of freelancing, I learned that simply doing a great job will set you apart. Many clients come from previous freelancers who didn't deliver. Also, consider offering steep discounts when starting out to build your portfolio. It’s like getting mini-internships that can add experience and strong pieces to showcase. Ultimately, it's all about reputation and exceeding client expectations!

Thanks for the insights! Do you have any thoughts on using platforms like Fiverr and Upwork for getting clients? I'm considering those options for freelancing as a full-stack developer.
