Trouble Activating Apple Intelligence After Upgrading to iPhone 17 Pro Max

Hey everyone, I just upgraded from my iPhone 12 Mini to an iPhone 17 Pro Max, but I'm having issues activating Apple Intelligence. It keeps saying it's downloading support, but it's been stuck at 16Kb for 2-3 hours. I've even tried a factory reset on the phone, but that hasn't helped either. I'm not sure what to do next. Any suggestions? Thanks in advance!

First off, make sure your phone is properly connected to Wi-Fi instead of using mobile data. A reboot might help before doing a full reset again. After the factory reset, try downloading the latest update if it shows available, then attempt to set up Apple Intelligence again. Just have some patience since it might take a while to get everything up and running.

When I set up my 16 Pro Max, it took several days to get everything working properly. The AI download kept stopping and restarting for reasons I couldn't figure out. So double-check that the language in the Apple Intelligence menu is the same as in your main settings. Sometimes that can cause hiccups too!
