I'm trying to set up a ride-share app, but I can't seem to give it location permissions properly. My phone only offers options like 'allow while using the app' and 'allow this one time', but neither seems to work. I open the app, it shows my location for a brief moment, but then I get an error that says, 'Unable to get current location. Please allow the app permission to your location.' I've already tried deleting the app, clearing data, and updating my phone, but nothing has worked. Does anyone have any advice on how to fix this? Thanks!

It sounds like the app might need the 'Allow all the time' location access, especially for background usage. You should check the app's location settings to ensure 'Precise Location' is turned on. Also, make sure battery optimization is disabled for the app and that your system location services are fully enabled.
Have you tried rebooting your phone or iPad? Sometimes a quick restart can resolve weird glitches related to permissions.
I've done all those things, and still it doesn't work :/ I'm going to try on my iPad when I get home since I need this app to get to work.
