Troubleshooting Remote Desktop Connection Issues on VPN

I'm dealing with a user in my organization who recently relocated and is now connecting to our VPN for Remote Desktop access. They've been experiencing frequent disconnections—up to 15 times a day. Interestingly, they've noticed that their sessions seem stable only when the connection bar does not display signal bars. I've attached an image for reference.

The user is set to high-speed broadband in remote desktop settings and I haven't been able to replicate the issue from my end. I suspect this may stem from network latency on their side, but I'm not clear on what the signal bars indicate. Any insights would be appreciated!

Is your user on WiFi? If they're stationary, it could be interference, especially if they're near an airport where 5G signals might be affected by radar checks that some routers can't handle. You might want to check their connection type.

Yeah, they are on WiFi and the laptop isn’t moving. I suggested they try a wired connection for troubleshooting, but they’re not keen on it. I’ll definitely check about proximity to an airport. Thanks!
