I had the battery in my iPhone 15 replaced at an Apple Store a couple of days ago, and True Tone has stopped working ever since. I already restarted the phone, but that didn't fix it. I normally keep my brightness pretty low, so going outside is startling because the screen looks so dark that I briefly think the phone hasn't turned on. Has anyone else run into this after a battery replacement? Is there anything I can try at home, or should I take it back for another repair?

Take it back to Apple and point out that True Tone stopped working after the repair. Apple’s repairs generally have a 90-day service warranty, so they should inspect and correct the issue without charging you again.
You can try running the display calibration option through the phone’s built-in diagnostics mode. If calibration doesn’t restore True Tone, the repair center will need to check it, since the display may need to be properly paired or configured after the battery service.

Does it have to be the same store that replaced the battery? That location was pretty far away and took about two and a half hours, so I’d much rather use a closer service location if possible.
