I have a Google Pixel 7, and since yesterday the number "10000000" has been sending me a file roughly once a day. The attachment never loads, and I don't recognize the sender. I couldn't find much information about the number. Could this be spam or a technical mistake, and what's the safest way to stop it?

The displayed number may be spoofed, so searching for it probably won’t reveal who is actually sending the files. It could be a misconfigured automated system, ordinary spam, or harassment. Your carrier is the best place to ask for help tracing or filtering repeated messages.
Don’t open or download the attachment. Block the sender, delete the messages, and report them as spam if your messaging app allows it. If the messages keep arriving, contact your mobile carrier and ask whether they can investigate or block the source.
Treat unexpected attachments as unsafe even if they appear harmless. Don’t upload them for strangers to inspect or install anything they send. Keep your phone and messaging app updated, then block and report the number.
The attachment doesn’t load when I tap it, but I’ll avoid trying again and will block the sender.
