I have an HP laptop that's suddenly showing a scam message claiming it's urgent. It seems to want me to click 'okay' to redirect me to a fraudulent website, but the exit (X) button in the corner doesn't work! I'm stuck on this page and can't figure out how to get rid of it. I need my laptop to get back to normal operation since I have a lot to do. Any advice or tips on how to handle this would be greatly appreciated!

I suggest first checking if you can interact with other parts of your laptop, like opening other programs or restarting it. If it's still stuck, downloading and running ADWcleaner can really help to remove unwanted malware.
Try hitting Alt+F4 to force close that scam screen. It usually works for those pesky pop-ups!
