I'm having an unusual issue with my laptop running Windows 11. A couple of times, when I turned it on from hibernation without logging in, a pop-up appeared in the center of my screen. It had "Roblox" as the label, a red X on the left, and the message "Roblox timed out. Try restarting." There was an "Ok" button at the bottom and an option to click an "X" in the top right corner. It felt like a VBS script or something similar. The first time I saw it, it only appeared once, but the second time it disappeared and then returned. I do have Roblox installed, but I haven't opened it during these sessions. After logging in, I also received a notification from "Explorer" with a similar message. What could this mean? Could it be malware? I'm unsure what steps I should take to address this issue. If you need additional information, just let me know!

The pop-up you’re seeing isn’t likely malware; it seems to be a standard error message related to Roblox. You can double-check what programs are set to start automatically with your computer by using Autoruns from Microsoft Sysinternals Suite. It's possible that Roblox is trying to load itself up during startup, especially if it's in your system's settings. If you want to prevent it from appearing, you could manage your startup applications.

Thanks for the insight! That makes sense. I checked and didn't find anything in the usual startup locations, so I'll hold off on any drastic measures unless this keeps happening. If it does, I might just reinstall Roblox.
