Our RingCentral contract ends in about 60 days, so we need to choose a replacement phone system soon. The main requirements are no automatic renewal at the end of the term, outbound calling included without surprise per-call fees, and transparent public pricing without having to contact sales. We also use Make for workflow automation, so we need call-based triggers, call logging, and the ability to route outgoing data. Dialpad and MightyCall are currently on our shortlist, but we're open to other suggestions and would especially appreciate firsthand feedback about how well those services work with Make.

You may also want to look at IZT Cloud Voice. Their plans are month-to-month for inbound and outbound calling, with international calls as the main potential extra charge. They provide webhooks for call-related events, which could be connected to Make for triggers, logging, and routing data.
MightyCall seems like a strong fit for those requirements. We switched to it about a year and a half ago and have been happy with the pricing and overall workflow. It also works well with Make for the kinds of call events and data handling you described. If you have enough time, testing both MightyCall and Dialpad side by side would still be worthwhile.
I’ve used IZT Cloud Voice and found the management portal straightforward. It’s worth checking whether its webhook events cover every automation step you need before committing, but it could be a good option if transparent monthly pricing is important.
Zoom Phone or Zoom Contact Center are other possibilities to compare. They may be worth considering if you already use Zoom, though I’d verify the detailed outbound-calling costs, contract terms, and Make integration before choosing.
