My iPhone 13 Pro Max has developed a green screen issue. While Apple has offered to repair it for free, they mentioned that this would erase all my data. I haven't backed up my phone in a long time due to storage constraints. The phone still works fine aside from the display problem. Apple Support suggested using a Lightning to HDMI cable to connect to a TV, allowing me to navigate the phone and back up my data. However, I'm struggling to find an affordable third-party cable since the official Apple one is not available here. I'm also facing challenges with backing up to iTunes because I need to trust the computer, but it's tough without seeing the screen. Can anyone recommend a good digital AV cable or any alternative methods to save my data?

Honestly, your best bet is to either get that HDMI cable from a local site or consider replacing the screen if that's an option. It's a hassle, but those seem to be your main options right now.
Have you tried connecting your phone to a computer for a backup? If the phone is still functional, you might be able to manage it that way, even the screen is green.
If you can find a MacBook, try using the screen mirroring feature. It could help you see what’s happening on your iPhone and navigate it better for a backup.
That's a good idea, but it might still be tough trying to guess where to click without being able to actually see it.

The issue with that is you need to trust the computer first. I understand that can be tricky when you can’t see the screen clearly. You really need to find that trust prompt to proceed.
