I'm on the hunt for a solid Free and Open Source Software (FOSS) PDF editor that lets me sign, merge, and rearrange PDFs. I've been using iLovePDF.com for a while, but I'm not comfortable trusting sensitive information with an online service. That's why I'm looking for something I can run locally. I do use some other features too, like redacting, watermarking, encryption, and conversion, but my main needs are signing, merging, and rearranging PDFs. Thanks in advance for your recommendations!

I recommend trying out PDF24. It has a lot of useful features, but I'm not sure if it runs on Linux—definitely check that out!
Yeah, I've had to stick with Win11 just for PDF24 and MS Office.
If you're comfortable with Docker, you could run SterlingPDF in a container. There are other options available too—check out their site if you're interested!
What are the benefits of running this in a container? Wouldn't it be easier if it was just a regular package?

I looked it up on their site and found that they don’t support Linux or Mac currently.
