I'm currently using Kaseya VSA 9.5 On-Prem for patch management, remote desktop access, and script automation. I'm looking to move away from it and would appreciate recommendations for on-prem alternatives. I have specific needs due to operational, regulatory, and security requirements that necessitate an on-prem solution. I need software that can handle endpoint scripting, patch management, inventory and discovery, and possibly integrate with ScreenConnect for remote support. I've heard of options like Baramundi, Ivanti UEM, ManageEngine, and N-Able, but I'm keen on hearing about real-world experiences with these platforms. Thanks for any insights you can share!

Have you considered alternatives like SolarWinds or ManageEngine? They have robust patch management and on-prem deployment options that might suit your needs. Plus, their user community is quite active, which can be a big help.
It's interesting that you're prioritizing an on-prem solution. Are there specific worries you have about moving to the cloud? I've been using ScreenConnect for remote access and it's been fantastic. It integrates well with RMM systems, which might help with your needs. Just a thought if you haven't checked it out yet!
I think your best bet might be a solution like Ivanti UEM or Baramundi—they're both solid on-prem solutions that can cover your bases well in terms of patch management and inventory. Just be sure to check their compatibility with the tools you’re currently using!
Thanks for the suggestions! I will definitely look into Ivanti UEM and Baramundi further.

We have stringent security policies that only allow on-prem systems. That's why I’m also on the lookout for solid on-prem choices. Cloud just doesn't fit our risk model.
