What Should I Do If My iPad Can’t Join My Home Wi-Fi Network?

I'm having trouble connecting my iPad to my home Wi-Fi. I've checked the hardware and everything seems fine. Interestingly, my iPad connects to other networks, like the one at the store, without any issues. However, at home, I get an "unable to join this network" error. It connects when I'm really close to the router, but once I'm in another room it won't connect at all. I've tried restarting my iPad, resetting the network settings, and updating to the latest iOS version, but nothing has worked. Any suggestions for fixing this problem? Thanks in advance!

Just a heads up, if you have a VPN, that can sometimes interfere with your Wi-Fi connection. If Wi-Fi isn't working as expected, try disabling your VPN or removing the app entirely. You can always reinstall it afterward if needed!

Have you tried restarting your router? Another good idea is to forget the saved network on your iPad and reconnect. Sometimes routers just act up, especially if there's been a recent change in your security settings. If it switched from WPA2 to WPA3, it might mess with your connection. After you do that, give it another shot and see if it works!

I actually did all that and even bought a new router, but the problem still exists. It only connects when I'm right in front of it. If I go to another room, it won't connect at all.
