I'm planning to install Bazzite on an upgraded Dell OptiPlex 3020 for game emulation and as a replacement for my smart TV's operating system. I'd like a controller-friendly, TV-style interface with launchable icons for YouTube, Netflix, Disney+, and Prime Video. Ideally, the services should support 1080p playback. What software would work well for this setup?

Take a look at KDE Plasma Bigscreen. It provides a TV-oriented interface designed for remote or controller use, so it may work well as a living-room shell on top of Bazzite. You’ll still need to check how each streaming service behaves in its available browser or app, especially regarding DRM and resolution.
Kodi is another option for a TV-friendly interface. It works well for organizing local media and can provide a couch-friendly launcher, but streaming services such as Netflix, Disney+, and Prime Video may require separate add-ons or browser shortcuts. DRM support and maximum resolution can vary, so it may not deliver 1080p reliably for every service.
I thought Kodi was only an interface. Does it actually provide the streaming apps too?
