What Will Apple Replace My iPhone 13 Mini With Under AppleCare+?

I've been using an iPhone 13 mini and I love its compact size, but I'm having some serious issues. The battery is totally shot, the call speaker just stopped working, the music speaker has been faulty for a while now, and the phone keeps freezing up. I've got active AppleCare+, so I'm curious—if I go for a replacement, will they give me another iPhone 13 mini, or could I get a newer model?

'Express-replacement' is a good option if you're looking for less hassle. Apple will likely replace your 13 mini with another one as long as parts are available. They’ll usually only upgrade you to a newer model if your current phone is considered really old and out of date.

Isn't the iPhone 13 mini considered obsolete? That's what everyone I know keeps saying. I really like the size—it fits perfectly in one hand and does everything I need.

They might actually just repair it since the battery and speakers can be fixed. But if they do need to replace it, the iPhone 13 mini should still be available for service for at least another year. It’s best to contact Apple to get the final word, though.

Don't worry, the iPhone 13 mini is still supported. You'll definitely get another 13 mini as a replacement.

You can expect a direct replacement with the same model. Apple usually sticks to what they’ve been selling unless it's completely out of stock.
