What will happen if a personal purchase receipt is blocked by my work email filter?

I work for a medical-device company with roughly 700 employees. By accident, Apple Pay sent a receipt for a personal adult-oriented purchase to my work email address. Outlook notified me that the message had been blocked automatically, so it never appeared in my inbox. Since the receipt includes my name and shipping address, I'm worried someone in IT or HR might review it and recognize that it was me. Do IT staff typically inspect blocked messages, and is this likely to lead to any trouble?

It was almost certainly caught by an automated mail filter, and nobody will manually inspect it unless there’s a specific reason to investigate your account. IT teams generally don’t have the time—or the need—to review every blocked message. I wouldn’t worry about it.

In the unlikely event that someone does see it, it will probably just be treated as an accidental personal email and forgotten. Companies deal with much stranger technical and workplace incidents than this, and an innocent mistake like sending a receipt to the wrong address normally wouldn’t justify HR action.
