Why Can’t I Access Log Analytics in Entra ID?

I've got two tenants under my control, and while testing, I'm hitting a wall when trying to access the Log Analytics page in Entra ID. It keeps showing "You don't have access" even though I'm the owner and global admin for both tenants. Any ideas on what might be going wrong?

Remember, to set up a Log Analytics workspace, you'll need an Azure subscription. Once that's established, you should be able to configure Diagnostic Settings for Microsoft Entra ID. However, don't enable everything at once - it's often more manageable to activate options one by one to see what value they add as well as to keep tabs on costs. And by the way, it’s great to set your Audit and Sign-in logs to your workspace, just ensure everything is linked correctly.

It might help to give yourself a Log Analytics Contributor role. That could clear up any access problems you're facing.

Are you sure you're listed as the owner of the Azure subscription? Sometimes, access issues stem from that. If you haven't already, double-check your subscription settings.
