Why Did My Screen Time Password Change on My iPad?

I recently set up a Screen Time password on my iPad to monitor my usage, and I confirmed the password. However, when I tried accessing the "App & Website Activity" section, the password changed unexpectedly. Now, the 'forgot password' option doesn't work; it just dismisses the keyboard. Does anyone know how to fix this issue?
