My computer powers off completely at random while I'm using it. I haven't been able to identify a specific trigger, and the event logs contain critical errors that I don't fully understand. It can even shut down shortly after startup. I'm looking for ideas on what might be causing this and how to troubleshoot it.

Keep an eye on CPU and GPU temperatures with your monitoring overlay. Overheating can cause an emergency shutdown, although temperatures around 55°C for the CPU and 45°C for the GPU are normal. Since it sometimes happens soon after startup, also consider the power supply, loose power connections, or another hardware-related power issue.
Check the critical events in the system logs, especially anything recorded immediately before the shutdown. An unexpected-power-loss entry can confirm that the system lost power, but it usually won’t identify the underlying cause. Sharing the specific preceding errors would make them easier to interpret.
