Why does my phone's volume keep lowering on its own?

I've been facing an annoying issue where the volume of any video or song playing in the background on my phone keeps decreasing by itself. It's really frustrating because I can barely hear anything without cranking the volume back up. I'm looking for a solution to stop this from happening completely. Any advice?

Have you checked if your phone is updated? Sometimes, software issues can cause these types of glitches.

CuriousCat92: It doesn't go all the way silent, but it gets low enough that I have to max it out to hear anything.
