Samsung Internet suddenly started asking me to complete "unusual traffic" CAPTCHAs, especially when I browse in incognito mode. I only had to solve it once in regular browsing, but the prompt keeps returning in incognito. Chrome and Bing work normally, and this only started happening today despite incognito having worked fine for years. What could be causing it, and is there anything I can try to reduce the repeated CAPTCHAs?

CAPTCHA services check more than just your browsing history, including cookies, IP reputation, browser settings, and traffic patterns. A change in your network or the service’s detection rules could explain why this started suddenly, even if your habits haven’t changed. You could try switching networks, restarting your router, clearing Samsung Internet’s site data, and temporarily disabling a VPN or privacy-blocking feature.
Incognito mode doesn’t retain the cookies or browsing signals that CAPTCHA systems use to recognize a returning user. Each session can look like a brand-new browser, so the site may repeatedly treat it as suspicious. Using a regular Samsung Internet tab is the simplest workaround.

That makes sense. I was confused because incognito had worked without constant prompts for years, but it sounds like a detection-rule or network change could have triggered it.
