Why does Windows 11 still report an active hypervisor after I disabled Hyper-V?

I'm trying to run VirtualBox on Windows 11 and attempted to disable Hyper-V with the boot configuration command `bcdedit /set hypervisorlaunchtype off`. However, System Information (`msinfo32`) still shows: "A hypervisor has been detected. Features required for Hyper-V will not be displayed." Hyper-V also doesn't appear in the Windows Features dialog, although the related options I could find are disabled. What else could be keeping the hypervisor active?

Windows 11 can use the Hyper-V hypervisor for built-in security features, so disabling the Hyper-V feature in Windows Featuresโor changing the boot settingโdoesnโt necessarily stop every hypervisor-dependent component. Also, VirtualBox isnโt inherently tied to the traditional Hyper-V feature, so that message by itself doesnโt prove VirtualBox is causing a problem.

MellowCedar42: I already checked the Windows Features dialog, but Hyper-V isnโt listed there. The other related options I found are turned off. Is there another Windows security feature that could still be starting the hypervisor?
