I'm having an issue with my iPhone 17 where the right side doesn't make any sound, but the left side does. I've read that the speaker and microphone positions are arranged in a certain way, and from what I understand, the left side is supposed to be the microphone and not produce sound. However, in my case, the left side plays sound while the right side seems completely silent. Is this a manufacturing error where the positions of the microphone and speaker are swapped?

Actually, the left side has the speaker you’re hearing, but if you’re looking at the back of the phone, it can look reversed. Once everything is assembled, it wouldn’t be easy for the parts to be misaligned like that. They fit together very precisely, so it’s probably fine!
Don't stress too much, bro! Your iPhone is likely working just fine. It could be that you're hearing sounds from a different part of the phone than you expect. Double-check the settings and sound balance just in case!
