I'm having trouble using my new phone number with various apps like Door Dash and Affirm. Whenever I enter my number, I get an 'invalid number' message, even though it works fine for regular calls and texts. My area code is 274, and I'm wondering if that might be causing the issues. Any ideas on how to fix this?

It's possible that the last person who had that number was banned from those apps. You might want to reach out to T-Mobile and see if they can give you a new number, just in case.
Have you checked if your number is a VOIP line? Many apps are starting to block those because of spamming issues.
I just checked, and it looks like it's not a VOIP number.

Yeah, I guess that's a possibility. Not sure if it’s always the case, but I’ll keep that in mind.
