I'm having trouble watching Prime Video on my HP laptop when I connect it to an external Koorui monitor using an HDMI cable. I just bought a new HDMI cable that supports HDCP 1.4 for HD content and HDCP 2.2 for UHD and 4K. However, every time I open the Prime Video page in any browser, the external monitor screen goes black, and it only comes back when I close the tab. I've tried setting the external monitor as the main display, disabling hardware acceleration in both browsers, and clearing the cache and history, but nothing seems to work. The video plays fine on my laptop's screen. Can anyone help me out? I'm getting really frustrated!

It sounds like your monitor might not be handling the HDCP handshake properly. Some external monitors can have issues with DRM content, especially if they’re newer or not fully compatible. I’d suggest checking your monitor settings to see if there's an option related to HDCP support or any firmware updates that you can apply. Sometimes using a different connection type, like DisplayPort, could also help if your monitor supports it. Good luck!

Yeah, I had a similar issue with a different setup. Checking for updates or even trying a different monitor can really make a difference. I’d recommend testing with another HDMI cable too, just in case. It can be a lot to troubleshoot!
