I've been having issues with the Play Store on my IQOO Z9x 5G running Origin OS 6. Specifically, it won't allow me to update apps. The download process gets stuck at 99%, and when I try to update, I see a "couldn't update" error. I've confirmed that my network is fine since I can download other files through Chrome without any problems. What can I do to resolve this?

If things continue to fail, consider a factory reset. I get it, though—backing up is a pain, especially with a lot of important files.
Have you tried clearing the cache and data for the Play Store? That usually helps reset any issues. Also, make sure your Android version is up to date.
Have you checked your phone's storage? Sometimes, not having enough space can cause issues with updates.
I had similar problems with my old phone. It might be due to the Origin OS not cooperating well with the standard Android updates.
