I’m looking at 16GB of DDR5-6000 CL30 for a gaming PC. Would that be enough for games like Black Myth: Wukong, Baldur’s Gate 3, League of Legends, and CS2, or should I aim for 32GB?
Will 16GB of RAM be enough for gaming?

For those games, 16GB should be workable if you’re mostly just gaming. The speed and timings are a separate question from capacity. Close memory-hungry apps if a game stutters or the system starts swapping.

Think of 16GB as usable, but with less room to multitask. A browser with lots of tabs, voice chat, recording or streaming software can add up alongside a game. If you want to leave those running, 32GB gives you more breathing room.

If you’re buying parts for a new build and can comfortably afford it, I’d choose 32GB. It’s a sensible cushion for newer demanding games and future use, though it doesn’t mean 16GB can’t play games well today. If the budget is tight, start with 16GB and consider adding more later, provided the board supports it.
