Experiencing Stuttering and Freezing with My New 5070 Ti GPU

Hey everyone! I recently got a 5070 Ti graphics card, and I'm running into some frustrating issues. After doing a clean installation of the drivers via safe mode using DDU, I noticed that my PC freezes and stutters sometimes, particularly when I'm watching YouTube—it's really annoying! I've already reset my PC, reinstalled Windows, and gone through the driver installation three times, but the problem persists.

I also checked the performance using GPU-Z. When I'm not doing much, the GPU clock spikes wildly between 1000 and 2700 MHz, while the memory clock goes up to 1750 MHz. When streaming videos, the GPU clock fluctuates between 700 MHz and over 2000 MHz, with memory spikes reaching from 50 to nearly 900 MHz. Additionally, I experience these spikes during simple actions like closing tabs or resizing windows.

Does anyone have any idea what could be causing these issues with my PC or the GPU? I've got some clips [here](https://drive.google.com/drive/folders/1PAK5n7vWKWXTixl2GzYaabAzZ6UBcpkg?usp=sharing) if that helps. Thanks in advance!

Those clock spikes you’re seeing are actually pretty normal for GPUs and CPUs—they ramp up and down depending on usage. Are you having this issue in all games or just specific ones? I recommend using Afterburner or RivaTuner overlays while you play to really see what’s happening with performance. That might give you a clearer picture!

Yeah, I see what you mean about normal spikes, but when I’m just idling on the main screen, seeing that spike up to 2600 MHz feels off. I haven’t tried any games yet since those idle spikes seem pretty weird already.
