Help! My Mouse is Acting Like I’m Double Clicking

Hey everyone, I've been experiencing a frustrating issue with my mouse. Whenever I single click, it often behaves like I double clicked instead. This happens with both left and right buttons. As a result, I run into several problems: I try to drag a file, but it opens instead; when aiming with a throwable via right-click, it throws immediately; and when selecting text for copy/paste, the text gets deselected unexpectedly. I ran some input tests, and it seems like holding the buttons works fine. The trouble lies in the clicking and releasing process. I suspect there are tiny deadzones on the mouse causing it to briefly register as released and then clicked again. Is there any way to adjust my mouse settings to eliminate these deadzones or add a delay for release to ignore these tiny disconnects?

What mouse are you using? I had a similar issue with my Corsair Harpoon RGB Pro after updating the firmware through the ICUE app. It turned out downgrading to an older firmware fixed everything for me! If your mouse has any software or firmware options, check those out and see if rolling back helps you too.

I’m using a local brand mouse, and unfortunately, it doesn’t have dedicated software for updates. Any other suggestions?
