I've been using a wireless keyboard and mouse combo (connected with a USB dongle) for a while now, mainly while I'm on the couch. Recently, my wireless keyboard just stopped functioning, but the mouse still works. I thought the batteries might be dead, so I replaced them, but that didn't help. I even bought a new mouse/keyboard combo and connected the USB dongle, but still, the keyboard doesn't work while the mouse does. I've checked the Windows settings, tried different USB ports, and even disconnected my wireless headphones, but nothing seems to solve the issue. Any suggestions?

You mentioned trying different USB ports. Make sure the dongle is plugged into a port that is directly on the motherboard rather than through a hub. Sometimes USB hubs can cause connectivity issues with wireless peripherals. Another thing to check is if the keyboard has a power switch or needs to be re-synced with the dongle.
Have you tried connecting the keyboard to a different device? Sometimes it might be a compatibility issue or a fault with the keyboard itself. Also, check if there are any driver updates available for your device. If you've done all that, the keyboard might just be retired for good!
I haven't tried that yet! I'll give it a shot on my laptop and see if it connects there.
Good point! I usually use a hub, so I'll give that a try and see if moving it helps.
