Trouble with Surface Pro 10 and SIM Cards: Need Help!

Hey everyone! I've got a pretty weird issue with the Surface Pro 10 that my sales team is using. They've been having trouble with the VodaFone SIM cards we inserted into the devices. Sometimes the SIMs show up but won't connect to the internet, and other times they don't show up at all. We found a couple of workarounds: one is uninstalling the Surface firmware and rebooting, which sometimes gets the SIM working. The other involves swapping the SIM with a different one and then replacing it back. Despite these temporary fixes, we're looking for a permanent solution. Has anyone else experienced this?

Have you tried the classic trick for Surface devices? Power it down completely by holding the volume down and power button together until you see the Surface logo. It can sometimes reset the connection issues with the SIM.

I haven't tried that yet, but I will. It's such a strange problem; it's almost like it just doesn't want to recognize the SIM.

You might want to consider trying an eSIM; it could help rule out if the SIM slot is the actual culprit behind these issues.

Funny you mention eSIMs! My boss brought it up but hesitated, thinking if the problem happened again, we wouldn't be able to just swap the SIM back. It's definitely a weird issue, but we're determined to solve it!
