I'm having a problem with my new PC where it shows a black screen with a white box. This happens when I remove the GPU, and even when the GPU is in, it's still confusing. It was working fine before I restarted it and updated to Windows 11. However, this issue occurred when I was using Windows 10 as well, but it seemed to fix itself back then. I'm using an X870 Eagle motherboard. Can anyone give me advice on what to try next?

Sounds like a frustrating issue! First off, capturing some pictures of the screen would definitely help us troubleshoot better. Have you tried reseating the GPU or checking all your connections? Sometimes, it can be a loose cable that's causing the display problems.
I had a similar issue, and for me, it turned out to be a problem with the drivers after an update. Try rolling back your graphics drivers to see if that helps resolve the black screen. Good luck!
If reseating your GPU doesn't work, you might want to try booting with a different display output, like HDMI or DisplayPort, depending on what you have. Also, updating your graphics drivers can sometimes solve these pesky display issues.
