What to Do When Windows Update Fails After a Power Outage?

Hey everyone! I've been having a tough time with my Windows update. A few months back, I tried to do the usual update when, out of nowhere, a storm hit and the power went out right as it was finishing. Now I keep getting this error code: 0x800f0900 on Windows 11. To make matters worse, my PC won't recognize my headphones anymore. I used the troubleshooter, but it just said it failed to run. I'm really frustrated and not very tech-savvy, so I'm reaching out for some help. I'm worried about doing a hard reset because I might lose important stuff. What should I do?

First off, try downloading the same update manually and then reinstall it. If that doesn’t work, you might need to consider doing a repair install or even wiping and reinstalling Windows. I know it sounds daunting, but after that, you'll have to install the updates again. Just make sure to back up your data first to avoid losing anything important!

Got it! Where exactly can I find that update to download? And how do I go about reinstalling it?
