Can my PC boot without a graphics card?

I'm considering buying a used graphics card, but I want to check something first. I know my CPU doesn't have integrated graphics, so if I try to start my PC without a graphics card, will it actually boot up? I realize I won't see anything on the display, but will there be any signs that the PC is functioning? I just want to confirm this before I make the purchase.

Without integrated graphics, your PC won't display anything, but it'll still boot up normally. You should see the fans start spinning and any RGB lighting you have will turn on, which indicates that the system is running.
