Help! My Laptop Keeps Crashing with a Driver Verifier DMA Violation BSOD

I'm struggling with my HP laptop that has an Intel processor and runs on Windows 11. I bought it just a few months ago in November, but it's been crashing almost constantly due to a 'driver verifier DMA violation' BSOD. This actually started after I downloaded AVG's driver updater.

I've already uninstalled AVG and tried everything from command prompts to updating software, but nothing is working. When I attempted to update Windows, it keeps telling me I don't have enough storage even after deleting many files. This laptop is my work machine and I'm seriously behind schedule because of the ongoing issues. I'm at my wits' end and contemplating buying a new one, but it's frustrating to face this problem when it's still so new. Any advice would be greatly appreciated!

Have you thought about doing a clean install of Windows? And it's probably best to avoid AVG's driver updater in the future if it caused these issues. A fresh setup might help clear out whatever's causing the conflict, but make sure you have your important files backed up first!

I tried reinstalling but it keeps crashing mid-process with the same BSOD error. It's so frustrating!

Make sure you’re trying to reinstall after a full cleanup. If it crashes again during the reinstall, it might be a hardware issue.

It really sounds like a driver issue. If you’ve wiped the drive recently, you need to ensure you didn’t lose any critical dump files that could help diagnose this. Check that you have the right drivers for your hardware after you clean install.

You might want to start by checking for any dump files in C:WindowsMinidump. These files contain crash logs that can help pinpoint the issue. If you can access Windows or Safe Mode, zip those files and upload them to a file-sharing site like Mediafire or Catbox.moe—those tend to work best. More dump files provide better insight, so try to collect as many as you can!
