Hey everyone, I hope you can help me out. About a week ago, I managed to update most of my drivers, but I ran into an issue with my Realtek network drivers. I was using MSI Live Update, but it wouldn't download the network driver for some reason. I figured I'd deal with it later, but then last night, my network randomly cut out while I was watching something. I thought it was just my university's wifi acting up, but my roommate was gaming on his Xbox without any issues. Fast forward to today, I tried all sorts of network resets and even deleted the current drivers to see if I could get it working again, but I'm at a standstill. My system only works with ethernet, and right now, nothing is connecting. Does anyone have any tips on how to force an update for the drivers or another way to get my network back up and running?

It sounds like you've run into a bit of a mess with those drivers! First off, it's likely that all you needed was to reset your network settings. But since you uninstalled stuff, you might not have any drivers active. A quick fix would be to get a friend to download the latest Realtek drivers onto a USB stick and then install them on your computer. That should get you back online. Also, Windows usually has a basic driver it can use, so check if that's functioning in the Device Manager.
I actually tried resetting, but no luck. Right now, my PC is connected to the ethernet, but it's not recognizing any network. I see the Realtek drivers listed in Device Manager, but I’m not sure if they’re actually installed properly.
