I've been thinking about making the switch to Linux after using Windows 11 on my new setup with an ASRock b650e Riptide motherboard, Radeon RX 7900XTX GPU, and Ryzen 7 7700 CPU. I'm mainly a gamer, but I'm not using any games that are affected by EAC, so that's not a concern. The real issue for me has been all the bloat and driver problems I've been facing with Windows. I'm wondering if I can set up one of my SSDs to boot Linux while keeping the other one for Windows. Will this set up cause any issues while I test Linux out?

If you're okay with learning as you go, switching to Linux can definitely be worth it! Just keep in mind, you'll need to get comfortable with some trial and error, but it sounds like you've already got that mindset from building your PC. As for dual booting, you shouldn't have any major issues. Just make sure to set your SSDs correctly and you should be good to go!
You can absolutely convert one of your SSDs for Linux and keep Windows on the other. Just ensure you back everything up before making any changes. It's a good idea to use a virtual machine for practice, too! And remember to read up on basic commands; it helps a ton. Good luck!
Thanks for the advice! I'll definitely check out some commands before diving in.
