Help! My Laptop Broke and I Need It for School

I think I might have broken my laptop. Some pieces randomly came off, including a screw that was holding the bottom part down, which covers the internal components. The other side hasn't had a screw for a while now. I'm unsure what to do next since I really need this laptop for schoolwork and can't afford to lose it!

It looks like the back cover of your laptop is what's come off. If the screws can't be put back in, you could try using glue or duct tape to keep it secure for now. Just press down and clip it together with whatever clips are still there. It isn't perfect, but it can help get you through until you can fix it properly!

You might want to provide more details to get better help. What model laptop do you have? Can you describe exactly what pieces came off? Also, was it working fine before this happened? Would be great to see photos as well!

It's an HP Pavilion x360. The back cover part came off along with both screws. I was just sitting down when it fell off. Luckily, it still turns on, but the screen is crooked since the hinge got misplaced.
