Hey everyone, I'm looking to upgrade my graphics card to a 9060 XT 16GB. Here's my current setup: I've got a Ryzen 5 5600 processor, an MSI A320M-A PRO motherboard, a 450W PSU, a 6600 XT with 8GB VRAM, and 16GB of dual-channel RAM running at 3200. I typically play games like Path of Exile 2 (which lags quite a bit), God of War: Ragnarok offline, and sometimes Valorant. I'm curious if the 9060 XT will work with my current hardware or if I need to upgrade anything. Also, how much of a performance boost in FPS should I expect? Thanks!

If you haven't tried overclocking your 6600 XT, that might be a good place to start. Many users see decent performance gains with a bit of overclocking. For example, I managed a 15-20 FPS boost in Cyberpunk at 1440p high settings after a slight overclock. While upgrading to the 9060 XT will definitely give you a performance increase, the jump may not be as huge as you expect, so tweaking your current card first could help a lot.

The 9060 XT will definitely give you a significant performance boost because it has more power and VRAM. Just a heads up though, your motherboard (the A320) has a PCIe 3.0 slot, which means you might not unlock the full potential of the 9060's capabilities since it's designed for PCIe 5.0. It should still run fine, but you might face some limitation in speed.

How much performance loss are we talking? Am I looking at a minimal boost or will it be noticeable?
