What 12VHPWR Cord Should I Get for My GPU and PSU Setup?

Hey everyone! I'm building my first PC and I'm a bit worried about hooking up my GPU and PSU correctly. Currently, the power cord for my GPU is really close to the case, so I can't close the side panel. I'm looking for a 90-degree 12VHPWR to quad 8-pin PCIe cable to fix this. I bought a cable online, but it doesn't seem to fit my PSU correctly. It only uses 6 out of 8 slots on each PCIe cord, while my PSU PCIe cords utilize 7 out of 8. My power supply is the Lian Li Edge Series-1000W and my GPU is the MSI Vanguard 5090. Does anyone know where I can find the right 90-degree cable that will work? Thanks!

It's actually a good thing that cable didn't fit because you should never mix modular cables between power supplies, even if they're from the same brand. They need to be specifically compatible with your PSU model and wattage. Instead of using PCI-E, consider a native 12V-2x6 cable since it's just one cable and one plug. You can check CableMod.com for options!

MSI advises against using 12V-2x6 and included adapters for PCI-E cables, so I thought that was the best option. I also heard that 12V-to-12V connections have been associated with melting issues. Is that not the case?
